Jones battles to gold in Korea

Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones admits she had a tough ride in Gyeongju as she fought to claim gold at the Korean Open.

Jones became the first British woman to claim Olympic taekwondo gold at London 2012 and was looking to bounce back from her quarter final exit at the World Grand Prix in Suzhou in Korea.

And Jones did that in impressive fashion picking up five victories on her way to victory in the-57kg division – including a 5-2 win over Chinese rival Wang Yun in the final.

"I had five really tough fights," said the 21-year-old. "And what a long day. 14 hours at the competition."
