The hunt for Team GB Cheerleaders – Shortlist announced

Team GB’s hunt for a cheerleading squad that will support the team during the Olympic Games has moved on to the next stage with five entries shortlisted for a public vote.
The five British cheerleading squads shortlisted are:
- North London Wildcats
- Panache Bullettes
- The Crystals
- BBL girls
- Sheffield Hallam Cheer
Team GB and the British Cheerleading Association reviewed all of the video entries submitted to Team GB’s Facebook page and after taking into account the public votes and comments along with the quality of the entry and eligibility, five squads progressed through to the next stage.
The Great British public now have a chance to vote for their favourite cheerleading squad before Team GB celebrity ambassador, Alesha Dixon, makes the final decision on Wednesday (18 July).
The first assignment for the Team GB Cheerleaders will be to support the Team GB football team in its friendly against Brazil in Middlesbrough this Friday (20th July).
