The British Olympic Association (BOA) is delighted to announce that Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, two of Britain’s best loved TV presenters, will host the BT British Olympic Ball on November 30th at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Following the outstanding success of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the evening will be attended by Olympic champions, including Greg Rutherford (athletics), Jade Jones (taekwondo), Alistair Brownlee (triathlon), Rebecca Adlington (swimming), Anthony Joshua (boxing), Heather Stanning (rowing) and Peter Wilson (shooting), as well as Team GB Ambassadors and a host of celebrities from the world of sport and showbiz. With over 60 Team GB Olympic medallists already confirmed as attending, the evening promises to be the greatest celebration of Our Greatest Team.

The sold-out Team GB fundraising event, described as the ultimate Olympic year finale, presented by BT and supported by BMW and BP, demonstrates the huge appetite to celebrate the spectacular achievements of Our Greatest Team this summer and to support the future of Team GB.

The 1,200 guests attending the evening can expect a superb line-up of live entertainment, a four-course dinner and a unique night reliving the highlights of the London 2012 Games, all in the company of British Olympic legends past and present.

BOA Chief Executive and Team GB Chef de Mission Andy Hunt said:

“We are delighted that tickets to this year’s BT British Olympic Ball sold-out in record time as the event will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding success of Our Greatest Team at London 2012. Crucially, the ball will also act as a vital fundraiser to enable the British Olympic Association to continue to support current and future Olympic talent as we build towards the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, as well as delivering teams to seven Youth Olympic Games and Festivals over the next four years.”

Suzi Williams, Director, BT Group Marketing & Brand said:

“We’re proud to be supporting the British Olympic Ball as headline partner for the third year running.  The Ball is a fantastic opportunity for people to come together to celebrate the moments that made London 2012 so fantastic, and also to help Team GB prepare for success at future Games.”

“I was proud to watch Team GB’s amazing performances this summer and the Ball will be a fantastic celebration of the team’s outstanding success and achievements. I’m delighted to be involved in such a crucial fundraising event for our athletes.”
