British shooter Georgina Geikie has her work cut out to reach the final of the 25m air pistol.
The 27-year-old from Devon is ranked 34th out of 39 competitors after the precision shooting stage of the qualification round.
Geikie's score of 284 out of 300 means she is currently eight points adrift of the top eight, who will qualify for the final after the upcoming rapid fire stage.
Kim Jangmi of South Korea leads the way with a combined total of 298, including two perfect 100s.
