GB four through to final

Great Britain will have a full complement of four modern pentathletes in Saturday's women's final at the World Cup in Rostov, Russia.

Olympic silver medallist Heather Fell, Katy Livingston, Samantha Murray and Katy Burke all progressed safely through Thursday's semi-finals as they look to boost their hopes of making the team for the London Games.

Murray, fourth at the World Cup in Hungary last weekend, has been particularly impressive this season and she cruised through in semi-final B, finishing third.

A top-18 spot was not too demanding but Fell briefly looked in trouble in the final event, the combined run and shoot, before coming through for 14th.

Livingston finished among a six-strong front group in semi-final A having led after the fencing and swimming, while Burke crossed the line in 12th.
