Fox-Pitt remains second in FEI rankings

British star William Fox-Pitt has retained his number two spot in the latest FEI world eventing rankings.

Fox-Pitt is second behind New Zealander Andrew Nicholson, who recently won successive four-star events at Burghley and Pau.

Germany's reigning Olympic, world and European champion Michael Jung is third, with New Zealander Jonathan Paget fourth and Britain's Oliver Townend fifth.

Five other British riders are also in the top 40 - Tina Cook (16th), James Alliston (26th), Gemma Tattersall (30th), Piggy French (37th) and Izzy Taylor (38th).
