Two stars of London 2012, Nicola Adams and Jade Jones, are on the medal hunt today while there are finals at the athletics and, weather permitting, a sailing gold for Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark.

Taekwondo, -57kg (UK time - 2:30pm)
Jade Jones surprised many with her gold medal in London four years ago but will kick off her campaign in Rio as a marked woman.
She has admitted that the pressure of being the Olympic champion has been tough to bear in the last four years but now all the talking stops and she will let her feet do the talking.
The 23-year-old from Flint faces Morocco’s Naima Bakkal in the first round, with the final, should she make it, later in the evening.
Badminton, men’s doubles, bronze-medal match vs China’s Biao Hai and Wei Hong (2:10pm)
Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge’s quest for the gold was ended on Tuesday by the Chinese pair of Haifeng Fu and Nan Zhang in the semi-finals.
But the British duo – seeking to become the first badminton medallists for Team GB since Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms at Athens 2004 – must rebound to take on another Chinese pair in the bronze medal match.
Ellis and Langridge have surprised many with their run to the latter stages, they are ranked world No.22 after all, and the fairytale would finish with victory over Biao Hai and Wei Hong – a pair they have never met before.
Triathlon (3:00pm)
Alistair Brownlee took gold in the triathlon at London 2012 as his younger brother Jonathan had to settle for bronze.
Fast forward four years and the duo are odds-on favourites to make the podium again on what will prove a much trickier and hillier course in Rio.
Javier Gomez – who split the duo on the podium with silver in London – is injured but his fellow Spaniard Mario Mola is a real threat.
But the Olympic champion has recovered from the ankle surgery he had last year and will take some stopping after a run of impressive recent showings in the World Series races.
Athletics – Gemili (200m final, 2:30AM), Doyle (400m hurdles final, 2:15AM)
Super Saturday has been and gone and Mo Farah goes again in the 5,000m final on Saturday but two outside shouts of a medal in the Olympic Stadium are in action on Thursday evening.
Adam Gemili squeezed through the semi-finals last night in 20.09 seconds to secure a spot alongside Usain Bolt in what is sure to be an exciting 200m final.
With all eyes on Bolt – European champion Gemili could surprise a few while Eilidh Doyle is also in the 400m hurdles final after an impressive season that has seen her set a new personal best in the Diamond League last month.
Sailing, women’s 470 class (5.05pm)
Hannah Mills and Saskia will have to wait a little longer before finally getting her hands on Olympic gold.
However, it says something about how relaxed they are that they posted selfies on social media as they waited patiently for a race start than never came.
Mills and Clark boast a mathematically unassailable 20-point lead heading into the decisive medal race in their 470 class.
That means all they had to do was finish and stay out of trouble yesterday, only for a lack of breeze to frustrate them, the red and white postponement flag flying stubbornly on the committee boat. They go again today
