Friday marks the start of both the archery and modern pentathlon action as four Team GB athletes begin their Youth Olympic competition.
Bradley Denny and Bryony Pitman will be out in the archery ranking rounds, before completing the first elimination phase of the mixed team in the last 16 section at about 8am UK time.
Modern pentathlon, which will only comprise of four disciplines at Nanjing 2014, begins with the fencing round robin and Team GB’s Henry Choong and Francesca Summers will be in action from 3am UK time.
As these four get their Games underway, the swimming competition concludes in the pool and Team GB’s Duncan Scott and Charlotte Atkinson will race in the 100m freestyle and 100m butterfly finals respectively.
Out on the Jinniu Lake, Hanna Brant will compete in three qualification races for the single dinghy event after flat winds today suspended any activity on the water.
Elsewhere, Zachary Sheridan will start his qualifications for the men’s trampoline event from 6.30am UK time, with the finals and medal ceremony later on that morning.
