Brit Fuller sixth at Winter X Games in Tignes

Aimee Fuller finished sixth in women’s snowboard slopestyle competition at the Winter X Games in Tignes to complete a mixed event for British athletes.

Fuller was the last of the four Brits in action in France, placing sixth after landing a double backflip and a cab underflip tail grab during her three runs.

She scored 61.66 with her first, 26.66 with her second and 73.00 with her third as Norway’s Silje Norendal took the victory with a score of 93.00.

Two-time defending X Games Tignes champion Jamie Anderson had to make do with second with 85.66 and another Norwegian Kjersti Oestgaard Buaas third with 82.66.

Fuller’s sixth-place finish follows a fourth from Katie Summerhayes in the women’s freestyle ski slopestyle final, which was the best British performance in Tignes.

World Championship silver medallist James Woods didn’t qualify for the men’s freestyle ski slopestyle final nor did Jamie Nicholls in the snowboard slopestyle.
