Barrow satisfied with first two Diving World Series outings

Sarah Barrow has declared herself satisfied with her efforts in the opening two rounds of the Diving World Series in Beijing and Dubai.

The 25-year-old finished fourth in the 10m synchro final with Tonia Couch in China before placing fourth in the individual 10m platform semi-final.

Barrow then moved onto Dubai where she improved to sixth in the 10m platform but moved down to fifth with Couch in the 10m synchro medal showdown.

She battled injury to compete but wasn’t complaining with her results with the London leg at the end of April next up in the World Series.

"I was pretty pleased overall with how things went for me and Tonia in the first two legs of the World Series,” said Barrow.

"But I supposed you could call it a mixed bag of results, but overall, yes, steady and I'm pretty satisfied.

"It's going to be a busy year and, hopefully, I will return to China again later this year, if I can win a place in the World Cup, which is being held in Shanghai.

"I've been to China a lot over the years but I really liked Dubai, it was fantastic."
