Nicola Adams was one of the stars of London 2012 when she lit up the ring to become the first woman to win an Olympic boxing gold medal.
She added a further flyweight gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and was victorious at the 2015 European Games in Baku.
The following year was just as successful, with Leeds-born Adams winning her first World Championship gold before defending her flyweight title at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, turning professional in 2017.
Away from the ring, the Yorkshirewoman was awarded an MBE in 2013, while The Independent named her as the most influential LGBTI person in Britain in 2012.
