Penny Coomes gives insight on planned Sochi 2014 Figure Skating routine

Sochi is getting closer and closer but the routines we hope to perform have been months and months in the planning.
We spent the summer in the USA working on every element of two routines and lots of this work was off the ice with specialist dancers or acrobats.
Our first routine is like a quickstep and we've had plenty of advice from ballroom dancers to make it look authentic.
We've spent some time with a champion swing dancer called Robert Royston, who used to work with our former training partners Sinead and John Kerr, and I think he's really helped our performance level to step up.
For our second routine we've selected music from Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson show Immortal, which is great because we both love his music.
I think it's our favourite routine ever and it's a bit different because we've been working with some of the hip hop dancers who used to tour with Michael Jackson.
I love training to improve the routines, even it that means spending six hours a day on the ice with our coach to get everything working smoothly.
Our coach, Evgeny Platov, is a two-time Olympic champion himself so he knows all about the pressures of competing at the Olympics and what it takes to be successful.
We've made lots of hard decisions since Vancouver because we want to achieve the best we can in the sport - but moving to the USA to work with Evgeny was the biggest.
He's a great coach and he loves involving others in the process, like acrobats or ballet teachers or specialist dancers. We feel part of a big team but Evgeny has the final say.
Sochi would be our second experience of the Olympics and we've learned so much from last time.
In 2010, much of the focus was on John and Sinead but this time the attention will be on us.
Being British, obviously people are always talking about Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean about what they did at the Olympics and we're huge fans too.
We used to live in Nottingham like them and they have a similar height difference to us.
They were also famous for being really creative and different and that's something we'd like to known for too.
