A gold medallist from the World Youth Championships in 2004, Nick Woodbridge became the first British male to finish on the podium at a World Cup Final when he won bronze in London in 2011 while at the 2012 World Cup Final he placed fifth.

Woodbridge reached a career-high world ranking of fifth in June this year and studied economics at Cardiff Metropolitan University upon returning from his maiden Olympics in 2008.
