BIOGRAPHY

James Rodwell’s sevens career has been full of highs – he set a record in 2016 as he played in his 69th consecutive World Series tournament, before claiming the England caps record with his 71st tournament appearance the following season.

Wendover-born Rodwell also featured at the 2010 and 2014 and Commonwealth Games for England.

The Birmingham University graduate played in the World Cup in Moscow in 2013 where England finished as runners-up to New Zealand.

In 2016 Rodwell won silver with Team GB as rugby made its return to the Olympic Games in Rio.
