Biography

An unused member of the British 4x100m freestyle relay team at the Rome World Championships in 2009, Grant Turner made his global debut in Shanghai in 2011. He formed part of the sprint relay squad in China and will perform the same role at London 2012 after securing his place with 100m freestyle silver at the second Olympic trials in June. Turner learnt to swim while on a family holiday in Florida
