Greatest achievement to date: Winning my bronze Medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games 50m Backstroke and also finishing fourth in the medley relay with a pb/welsh record split of 60.9 for my backstroke leg. Before this my best achievement was bronze in the 100m back at European Juniors 2006 I think.
Aspiration: Make 2012 Olympic Games team ultimately but I'd like to represent GB and Wales whenever I can and continue to pb and move up in the World Rankings.
Who has been greatest influence on you: I have been very lucky to have some great coaches who have inspired me and made sure I achieved my best possible performances - Mike Roberts, Kevin Clark and now Bud McAllister.
One thing you can’t live without: My mobile phone (sad I know!).
Tip for the top: Always try to believe that you are just as good as anyone else. It doesn't matter if you are from a small club or country, you can still be the best so be confident!
