David Carry was a member of the 4x200 freestyle relay team at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. He also swam in the 400m freestyle event and finished 14th. At the 2009 World Championships Carry was part of the 4x200m freestyle relay team, they finished seventh and swam a new British record, Carry swam in the heats of the 4x200m freestyle relay at Athens 2004 Olympic Games, not swimming in final was one of his biggest disappointments of his career. He was also a member of 4x200m tm that set British Record at 2006 European Championships and double gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games in 2006. Carry set a new Scottish record when he won a gold medal in the 400m Freestyle event at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. His Father was a British champion skier & mother was a county district table tennis champ.
