The Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will mark Andrew Matthews’ Winter Olympic debut, where he will serve as the brakeman in the British (GB2) four-man team.
A former sprinter, Matthews had much success during his junior athletics career, including wins at the National Junior Championships (60m), European Junior Championships (4x100m) and a finalist at the European U23 100m Championships.
Aside from bobsleigh, he works as a Learning/Behaviour Mentor, and enjoys listening to music, being with friends and family and going to the cinema in his spare time
