Adam (AJ) Rosen finished 16th in Vancouver 2010, his second Winter Olympics. Best result this season is 23rd in the World Cup in Winterberg. He will be competing in the World Championships in Whistler from 1st Feb after which he will be racing a World Cup race in Lake Placid and finally returning to Sochi for the World Cup Final on the 23rd and 24th February.

At the 2009 Luge World Cup event in Calgary Rosen achieved the best ever result by a British athlete. He finish 6th and surpassed the achievements of Nick Ovett, brother of Olympic gold medallist Steve, who previously had a best British World Cup result of 13th.

After recently sliding on the Sochi track AJ said: “The track here is fast and beautiful!”
